Please ensure your passport has at least 6 months’ validity.
Kindly renew your passport if the validity period falls before 5 November 2024. 

Visa Eligibility 

Citizens of the following countries will require a Visa to enter United States: 

• China
• Hong Kong
• India
• Indonesia
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Sri Lanka
• Vietnam

Guide to Applying Visa

• Complete the Online Visa Application.
• Schedule an Interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the country where you live.
• Pay the non-refundable visa application fee if you are required to pay it before your interview. If your visa is approved, you may also need to pay a visa issuance fee, if applicable to your nationality.
• Attend your Visa interview.
• The consular officer will either issue or refuse the visa. The consular officer may determine that your application requires further administrative processing, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case.

Documents Required

• Passport valid for travel to the United States – Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your period of stay in the United States (unless exempt by country-specific agreements). 
• Non-immigrant Visa Application
• Application fee payment receipt if you are required to pay before your interview.
• Photo – You will upload your photo while completing the online Form DS-160. If the photo upload fails, you must bring one printed photo in the format explained in the Photograph Requirements.

Please process your visa as early as possible, as the processing time could take up to 35 Days.

Citizens of the following countries will require a Visa Waiver Program to enter United States: 

• Singapore
• Taiwan
• Norway
• United Kingdom

Visa Waiver Program requirements:

• The passport must have a machine-readable zone on the biographic page.
• The passport must be an electronic passport with a digital chip containing biometric information about the passport owner.
• Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel.
